Number of Movements: 37 Pattern Diagram:

Step-by-Step Description of Movements:
The pattern begins when the instructor commands the student
to come to attention (cha-ryeot). When given this command, assume an Attention Stance on the X on the AB line, facing D. This
is followed by the instructor stating the pattern that the student will perform (Toe-Gye teul).
On the command to assume the ready position (jun-bi), move the left foot to B to form a Close Ready Stance type B toward D. Remain in this close ready stance
type B toward D until given the command to begin the pattern.
When the command to begin the pattern is given (si-jak), perform the following individual movements in sequence.
The pattern should be performed according to the Guidelines listed in General Choi Hong
Hi's Encyclopedia of Taekwon-Do, and presented in the section on essential points
in performing patterns.

side block to B with the left inner forearm.
2. Slip left foot to B to form a left walking stance toward B, while executing (full facing) a low front thrust to B with the right
upset fingertip, pulling the left side fist in front of the right shoulder.
3. Bring the left foot
to the side of the right foot to form a close stance toward D, while executing
(full facing) a side back strike to C with the right backfist and extending the left arm to the side-downward.
Perform this move in a slow motion.
4. Move
the right foot to A to form a left L-stance toward A, while executing
(half facing) a middle side block to
A with the right inner forearm.
5. Slip the right foot to A to form a right walking stance toward A, while
executing (full facing)
a low front thrust to A with the left upset fingertip, pulling the right side fist in front
of the left shoulder.
6. Bring the right
foot to the side of the left foot to form a close stance toward D,
while executing (full facing) a side back strike to C with the left backfist and extending
the right arm to the side-downward.
Perform this move in a slow motion.
7. Move the left foot to D to form a left walking stance toward D, while
executing (full facing)
a pressing block to D with an X-fist. Perform moves 7 and 8 in a continuous
motion.
8. While maintaining a left
walking stance toward D, execute (full facing) a high vertical punch
to D with a twin forefist.

front kick to D with the ball of the right foot, keeping the position
of the hands as they were in move 8 above (a vertical punch with a twin forefist).
10. Lower the right foot to
D to form a right walking stance toward D, while executing (full facing) a middle front punch to D with the right forefist.
11. While maintaining a right walking stance toward D, execute (full facing) a middle front punch
to D with the left forefist.
12. Bring the left
foot to the side of the right foot to form a close stance toward F,
while executing (side facing) a twin side elbow thrust.
Perform this move in a slow motion.
13. Pivoting on the ball of the left foot, move the right foot to F in a
stamping motion to form a sitting stance toward C,
while executing (side facing) an inward
W-shape block with
the right outer forearm.
Perform this move in a stamping motion.
14. Pivoting on the ball of the right foot and turning clockwise, move the
left foot to F in a stamping motion to form a sitting
stance toward D, while executing (side facing) an inward
W-shape
block with the left outer forearm. Perform this move in a stamping motion.
15. Pivoting on the ball of the right foot and turning clockwise, move the left foot to E in
a stamping motion to form a sitting stance toward
C, at
the same time executing
(side facing) an inward
W-shape
block with the left outer
forearm. Perform this move in a stamping motion.
16. Pivoting on the ball of the left foot and turning counterclockwise, move the right foot to E in
a stamping motion to form a sitting stance toward
D, while executing (side facing) an inward
W-shape
block with
the right outer forearm. Perform this move in a stamping motion.
17. Pivoting on the ball of the right foot and turning clockwise, move the left foot to E in
a stamping motion to form a sitting stance toward C, at
the same time executing
(side facing)
an inward W-shape
block with
the left outer forearm. Perform this move in a stamping motion.
18. Pivoting on the ball of the right foot and turning clockwise, move the left foot to F in a stamping motion to form a sitting stance toward D, while
executing (side facing) an inward W-shape
block with the left outer
forearm. Perform this move in a stamping motion.
19. Bring the ball
of the right foot to the side of the left foot facing D. Then, while pivoting
on the ball of the right foot, move the left foot to D to form a right L-stance toward D,
while executing (half facing) a low pushing block to D
with the left double forearm.
20. Slip the left foot
to D to form a left walking stance toward D, extending both hands

the opponent's head.
21. Execute an upward kick to D with the right knee, while pulling both open hands downward
to the same level as the elbows.
22. Lower the ball
of the right foot to the side front of the left foot. Then, while pivoting on the ball
of the right foot and turning counterclockwise, move the left foot to C to form a right L-stance
toward C, while executing (half facing) a middle guarding block
to C with the knifehand.
23. Execute a low
side front kick to C with the ball of the left foot, keeping the position
of the hands as they were in move 22 above (a knifehand guarding block).

a pressing block to A with an X-fist. Perform this move in
